Books are our friends

“A house without books is like a room without windows” –said by Heinrich Mann. Books are the great property created by people. The 21st century is a time of space exploration and computer technology. Science advances, presenting us unique possibilities of knowledge of the world and getting information. We can get any information from the internet, TV, or radio. It seems that books are not popular any more in present time. They have given up a place to TV. Do we need books from paper if we can just see a movie or even to write whole national library on one crystal? But I still think that books always will remain great property of human culture. Books open for us a magical world of knowledge, interesting ideas and romantic wishes. Reading is always a great thing that you can do everywhere, anytime, in any age and in any mood.

Reading books is a completely free activity that everyone can do. You can read on a train, for example, or while you are waiting in a line for a doctor. There are many places where you can find any kind of books. Reading is a great activity for your brain. Books are a concentrated experience of human. Reading is a conversation with smart and successful people.

Books are a source of knowledge, so you can learn many new things from books. You can also find answers for any questions, whether it be how to make a new table, how to organize a successful business, how to be a good friend, or just The Universal Law of Gravitation. There are many books have written by cleverest people of the planet. Why wouldn’t we want to know the reasoning of great thinkers and philosophers, the great miracles and legends of the world, the secrets of Egyptian Pyramids, the beautiful legend of Taj Mahal, or myth how Prometej brought a fire for people. We can learn a lot of interesting things about life of our descendants, kings and queens, their ideals and beliefs; or secrets of our planet, what is inside and how many elephants are holding the Earth? When you learn something new, you make your own world richer and you expand your own view. To be a good interlocutor always was and will be fashionable.

While you are reading, you can enter a fantasy, mysterious and magic world. You can transfer to a remote past or a future.
